Dr. Hargobind Khorana, Nobel Laureate in Medicine 1968 expired today, November 11, 2011. He made several discoveries & inventions during his lifetime, but he is most renowned for the synthesis of genes, the building blocks of life, the carriers of evolution, in a laboratory.
